Well after selling my silver calais ive been driving a little diahatsu feroza then this came along after i sayd i wasnt going to get another vl for a while its a bit ruff atm ive had it for one day . The cars a feb 1987 morning blue over silver calais auto with a blue interior stock as a rock , stock tape player speakers, window visors , airbox , exhaust The car is not as clean as it looks in the pics needs all the interior cleaned which i can do at work, needs new nose centre piece which i just found in my pile of car parts got some rust in the windows and the paint on the top half of the car is stuffed also got a ding in the rear quarter panel so far i have: replaced door locks with new ones replaced the ignition barrel with a ''nice'' brand new one given it a full vacume and found about 10bucks in coils ,tampons, paintbrushes ps2 memory card and a tamagotchi under the rear seat cleaned the calais wheels is about to get a buff i have these parts which are going to go on: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Coming a long rather nicely there. What did you do with the 2-1/2" exhaust?

Mick wtf is those silver spats and granny rug? The car is sweet, the rocker cover needs a shiny coat of red though. Try to keep the dash original with the cassette player if you can, they are becoming rare in working order.

after the old one with me looking over my shoulder every time i drove it i wanted something that wouldnt stand out , the tape player works sweet and SO DOES THE AIR CON , FAN SWITCHES AND SETTINGS the only vl i have had that the aircon and fan works my spray guns arrived here today going good apart from it caught on fire on the way home from town on sunday arvo one of the injector o rings was ***ed and yeh started missing so i pulled over and then it started smoking peeked under the hood and thought oh **** ! tried to put it out with my good jacket didint work screwed my jacket and burnt the **** out of my fingers , sent me mate to a house , lucky some bloke whistled and threw a bottle of water. the spark plug lead is melted ,injector plug and the aac plug and a few random hoses are stuffed , but ripped it all off and got the injectors out fixed the plugs and injectors and got it going again on sunday night so i could get to work today MISSION ! lucky i didnt have to watch it burn to the ground also selling the exhaust looks really dirty in the above pic but it is almost brand new worth about $299 pete from newie mufflers recon selling cheap $$
