Hey peoples, ive got a vt clubsport r8 and was wondering how much its for a stage 2 shift kit for it, its a standard box, however i dont know if its slipping 2nd gear or if 2nd is blown, as i drive and have it left in drive it takes off in first then changes into 3rd, if i put it into 2nd it just revs.... any suggestions to what this might be, and price on stage 2 shift kit thanks DVHELL Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

that has got to suck, i have blown 2 gearboxes, in 1 i couldnt move the car keept reving, and in the other it was a bitch to take off, it was like dropping the cluth but they were auto. that is about all i got 4 u

i think that gearbox is beyond the shift kit stage take it to an auto shop and ask them, they will be able to diagnose whats wrong, bieng electric, it could be wiring or auto computer?

yeah i took my vl calais dat i had to joe in wollongong, when i blew the box... Im not saying the shift kit is gonna fix the slipping lol, gonna get my box fixed and put a shift kit in it, or however might get all billet **** in it hehe costs a fair bit thought, but anything i blow weak would only become better and stronger
