I had an issue with an autometer oil pressure line where the brass connections werent doing thier job (well the small circle that goes inside them) and ended up with oil everywhere. First of all it was a major pain but more importantly its a fire issue. What options do I have? Braided hose? Will it be compatible with my autometer gauge? I would like to retain the gauge still. Other options / pictures ? Cheers Brett

you can buy autometer braided lines in 6ft or 3 ft lengths in -4 to suit your gauge.

Or you could probabaly get one made from Nordens in dandy, they can do anything in there, they did all my turbo oil and water lines.

i was going to run a mech gauge in the car (i know its illigal, but if i get pulled over thats the least of my problems) and after this maybe i shouldn't.. If i get the line made by Enzed, like what "nordens" could do, sounds like the same thing.. Is it as bad as its made out to be?

those autometer -3line kits are expensive, cheaper if you buy some -3line and fittings and make it ur self, speed flow do -3 fittings.

Yeah I might have to get something from Norton. Ive been there before they have every little speedflow type fitting you can imagine. They supply the shops so may as well buy from there. Matty: Mine was dropping down the back of the motor, hitting the driveplate and throwing it onto the hot extractors. Lucky it didnt catch fire!

Yeah we spoke to a guy in Echuca when we needed some lines for the race boat, he gets all his stuff from Nordens

Enzed made up all my lines for my gauges....all speedlfow...aslong as u take ur gauge in with you and a correct sized fitting for your block and the length of the hose u need, they will knock something up for you....prolly looking around the 130 ish mark for a metre odd of braided hose and all associated fittings!! maybe a tad less!

brett just go to speed pro in noble park....they sell all the braided lines and will cut it to the size u need rather than buying one particular length and they have all the fittings there...isnt to expensive...thats where i got all mine from....just measure up how long u need the line and go down
