I have had my sl wagon for 7 years.
I brought it in my home town off an old couple.
The project has been going for a few years just on and off.
Engine mods:
All of the drive line has been replaced 5000kms ago when work was done.
Stage 2 cam, studs, multilayer head gasket, rebuilt bottom end, forged pistons, new crank and rods, extra injectors (old school but does work very good).
Drive train:
6 puk clutch with molly flywheel
MX7 gear box rebuilt
Diff:
31 spline lsd custom made.
I resprayed the car myself about 3 years ago & calais front
All new brakes and master cylinder vlt.
Lowered, new steering rack, balljoints ect
Electric windows, cruise control, interior needs work.
Around town I run 10psi with a stock 2 1/2 inch exhaust which did a 13.7@108mph.
On the strip I run a 3 inch dumper and run 1 bar@ 12.9 113mph with traction problems.
