Just got off the phone from Mark at godzilla ms, his GTR last night at the winternationals at willowbank run a 7.96@176.2mph, and backed it up today with a 7.97@161mph, the crank angle sensor shat itself just before the line. While not a VL, the engine is all RB, and would amaze people at just how stock some of the parts are, including the crank which is a stock item. The car weighs 3000lb with driver and is making in the vecinity of 1300-1350hp at the flywheel on less than 40psi of boost, and is also no longer fitted with nitrous, so thats all turbo...... From 2.6 litres!! Congrats on the time guys and glad to be a part of the car, look forward to seeing you slowly chase down Reese Macgregors time Linky linky of old PB on youtube, 7 sec pass should be up tuesday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTzWuVj3Ei8 Cheers...........................6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Stock crank, crower rods, off the shelf CP pistons, supertech valvetrain, hypertune intake manifold, ARE cooler, 6boost T6 race exhaust manifold, GT4788 turbo, no gas, less than 40psi of boost, 9800rpm, methanol fuel, Liberty gearbox, stock front and rear diffs with i think 2 war rear centre?? And billet axles in the rear. All factory panels with lexan front and rear windows, 3000lb race weight with driver. The limitation is the stock block, even now its far surpasses expectations of where it would split in half, the combination should be safe and efficient to 50-55psi, which would put it in the ballpark or reese's power, a new engine will be built in the following months to hopefully handle this boost and have a crack at the record. Gotta hand it to mark tho, he has balls the size of boulders to drive this thing, have a look at how it moves around!! 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Congrats to Mark and the team. I missed the first one, but saw the 7.97 yesterday. Here's some pics. They're from previous meets, so things may have even changed slightly. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
