NA auto, NA manual, turbo auto starters are the same, the turbo manual is the only different one. unless u ever run a 10" turbo flywheel u wont ever need a turbo manual starter

i would defenatly change the headgasket if its a converted na to turbo, what headgasket is in it atm?

Just use standard nissan head gasket, Standard alternator and if your not tuching the gearbox/ clutch you wont have to worry about the starter. Like thevlguy said the turbo 5pd vls use a different starter because they use a 10" flywheel instead of the NA 9.5"

using a HKS gasket is a waste of money, genuin nissan gaskets can run massive power. go do a seach in the brake section for upgrades, but VP/VR/VS front calipers(make sure they are finned calipers ) with VL turbo 289mm rotors

^^ Yep standard Nissan gasket is the go. I dont see the HKS being better then the standard item just cost a hell of alot more.

take the hks back and get your money back would be a good idea Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Theres no such thing as a VLT alternator. You can get reco Bosch and Hitachi ones, just make sure that you get one identical to the one you're replacing. The guys are correct about the VLT starter motors. AND with the brakes - you'll find VN-VP V6 front calipers are the same as N/A VL ones, however I'm not 100% sure on the VS fronts (probably the same as well). You VB-VS V8 front calipers with 289mm discs. Make sure you also have decent pads, fresh fluid, at least a 1" master cylinder, decent treads, AND you put a disc rear end in.

wat else needs replacing for the disc brake rears? ... is it just a matter of swapping the discs over and hooking up with brake lines etc....or is there more involved
