did you open the links that were in my last post? most clean n/a calais' are advertised for well over $7000.... so no, $5400 isnt bad for a n/a calais... obviously the originality and condition of the car have alot to do with the price and im sure you could even pick up a turbo calais for $5000.... but clean, original vl calais' are getting harder and harder to find, and in turn are clearly becoming more expensive

for starters it's probably a typo. second its a V8 auto with nigh 300 thousand km's. it has silver sideskirts and a le front grille so has obviously been modded. 5g is not to much for an original vlc on gas but when you add that it has been modded then value decreases. also note its not an n/a 6 but a v8. also there is the added security that is is a delaership car. and for a dealership car (not sold 'as is') it is also r/w and has rego, there is the added security if something does go wrong and if they are a good yard they have probably gone to the trouble to touch up any marks / broken plastics. dealer cars will always be more than personal sales. - Mitch

With the price of LE HDT and Walkys etc going up the price of immaculate GM SL/E and Calais should rise a bit as well.

i paid 8k for my na calais series 2 about 4 years ago, from caryard tho, had recent respray, very well looked after, lowish kms, interior was pretty much untouched, all stock, no dodgy mods. very nice imo prob best one ive seen for a awhile, not being a show car etc...
