Hi Guys,
I need to get my hands on an RB30 power steering pump this afternoon somewhere in Wollongong to see if using one is going to fix a problem I'm having.
If anyone has one I can borrow for a couple of hours it would be very much appreciated.
Please email [email removed] or contact me on here.
Thanks,
Adrian
P.S. Mods, if this should go in the WTB section I understand but I only need this up here for a little while. After that I guess you could delete it. Thanks.
I'm shopping for a way to get a steer pump to line up with my new balancer. I've hit a snag and the RB25 pump wants to line up with the counterweight on the balancer and not where it should.
Suggestions?

need to fabricate a new bracket ideally, fark arsing around, but thats modified cars i guess.
otherwise, longer bolt and a solid spacer to space it to line up with the balancer, easiest if you have to move it outwards towards radiator rather then backwards. (spacer like used on alternator, if you get what i mean)
surely it can not be out by much?

It's out by about 6 or 7mm. Has to go out towards the radiator though so I'll see if we can space it. Would love to see if there's an easier fix though - i.e. using a 30 pump.
5spdvl - Thanks mate. It only 'looks' good at the moment though. So frustrating. The belt driven jigger at the front is the Peterson oil pump. I don't fancy dumping all this cash on a motor and then shattering Nissan oil pumps the first time it gets a big rev or sat on the two-step.
It started small and sort of mutated out of control, mate. Such a money pit
Hopefully it goes alright when it's done though.

you only need to steer to come back on the return road at the end of the track
