ive been thinking bout removing my booster from my bay when it gets done, just to tidy things up a bit, but im curious to know how the bossterless under dash systems are compared to a system with a booster?
im not too concerned about pedal feel, more about safety than anything!
any info on this would be good

that looks expensive but goodluck if you decide to go ahead and keep us posted of how it all went. I do think it would look great to eliminate booster from the bay if everything else is done also.

i understand it can be done with a booster, but im wondering about systems run without a booster, ie. chubbys setup, which uses the wilwood pedals similar to the link above

No booster = Hard pedal that doesnt bite on the brakes well.
Chat to a few hotrod guys, most of them have remote boosters.

the car wont be used for any kind of circuit work, just 1/4 mile and street, which i could live with some poo pedal work, but i guess if it comes down to it and a booster free system is utter **** i could hide one under the dash somewhere

10-06-08, 14:56 GMT+10#11 Personally I wouldnt. I drove my brothers car with four wheel drums and no booster - never again. I came up to a round about at about 130 with the pedal jammed to the floor and she wasnt slowing!
Id worry about safety over visual appearance. Think of those quick jabs on the brakes when coming to traffic lights etc.
