Do a search man... 10 grand wont go fair at all if your aiming for reliable 10s. Unless your able to do alot of work yourself.

check out some of the sit sponsors who specialise in this kinda thing, give them your budget -2k and see what they can give you. so you have 10k tell em 8 so you dont get ripped off. not that anybody would i hope. as for a panel beater..depending on how bad they are and what colour your after. if you want a show cr paint...your budget should be dedicated to you paint...10k wont strech far with the top paints (HOK, Dupoints etc...) and a top sprayer. but do the ring around, go visit ppl and pick the middle quote

well you basically told us.. you want an engine builder - any vl turbo joint jpc bresciani rajab but 10k wont go very far 6-8 on a forgd motor plus bout 2.5k for an auto to handle there ya go 10g's! bascially got new motor and box! cheaper to buy the build

your budget wont get you quality work as your hiflow won't do 10's, 11's maybe and 12's definately. 12's is scary quick for most best you set aside your body budget then what your left with is what your performance budget is try working it out like this: gear box n/a $4-500 clutch $600 engine $3300 injectors $600 pump $300 nistune $1000 / enginemanagement $1500-4000 etc. etc. etc. then you will see if you can aford it remember to add 10-20% for what you forgot and what you find

Best bet is just to go to a few (or one if you already know their type of work) and tell them what you want and what sort of money you have to spend. They will work something out and there you go all sorted! Walk in, tell them you want to be doing 12s, then say draw me up a quote for what i'm going to need to be doing those times. When they come back try and sort out a price...

wernt you selling this car mate?? Also reliable 10's and 10k budget dont fit in the same sentence... but go like this... *good fresh bottom end (even factory specs) *cam and head work *700 roller *injectors, fuel system and computer *exhaust, cooler and boost *good auto & diff gears If you can drive ull get a low 11 even 10, this exact set up. It has been done by 3 of my mates so if anyone says it cant be done ...your dreaming. Also in my honest opinion, reliability and tuning play hand in hand to an extent so get a good tuner... Tim from electronic automotive in lalor/epping is great at it from personal experiences. Hope that helps ya mate!

its good sometimes worth looking around the net/newspapers for the things your after......... because there is alot of people that have built a strong motor or other driveline parts etc and throw endless $$$ into it and then sell it for cheap for reason of not being able to finish the little things or for running out of money etc just a suggestion but sometimes can work out better Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
