hey guys just changed the terminals on my vl as my old ones were shagged, also my battery had gone a bit flat from just sitting there for so long and its not quite getting driven around yet so i charged that up fully put it back in today got power to everything all sweet but now when i turn the key... nothing all i get is a tick from the starter motor and i only get that sometimes not every time. ive double checked the terrminals again checked they are tight. still nothing checked the battery with multimeter and its fully charged. only thin i can think of is maybe the starter motor ?? before i changed my terminals it took awhile to start it would never start first time, would crank but not fire up.. any ideas on what it is fellas ?? the only other thing i did while the battery was out was removed my cruise control as it didnt work. I blocked up all the vaccume lines and thought it would be ok. not sure if it would have any affect. need to get it fixxed asap thanks

Did you check the voltage while someone cranked it for you? When put under load you may find the battery voltage drops massively in which case it's time for a new one.
