hey ive got a problem with my speedo and tacho ever since i got my manual conversion done my spedo has been out and so is my tacho. i first though maybe it was because of the wrong speedo cable but i hooked up my 5'' monster tacho running the the feed wire off of the same one that goes to the dash cluster and that tacho was working fine while it was hooked up. so now i dont kno what the problem could be, any ideas ?? oh and what its doing is reading lower than its ment to like the revs say 1000rpm but really it would be doing around 2500rpm.

The RMP guage sounds stuffed. It gets its signal from the coil and the wire to the dash must be fine if another gadge worked. I know theres a place that reconditions the hole cluster fairly cheaply. With the manual conversion what gear box was used??

I got told it was an mx7 box but i have found out from getting it done at the place i did that the guys are dodgy so i wonder if it is or not. is there any easy way to tell without taking the gearbox out?? i do have access to a hoist to look under the car. its just weird coz they both (RPM and speedo) worked fine before the conversion.
