Take the headlight protectors and windshield off the door/s. Apart from that, it looks great. Good luck. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

first step is clean and polish it! get some of that clay stuff it works a treat. then you will be able to decide on resprays etc. what i would say is get some graphite in those electric windows and get the power window buttons rewired there is a guy on this site that does them. also new fluids aeverywhere, flush the radiator and get a timing belt done it doesnt hurt... as good as the previous owner might have been there is always the fact that out of sight often means out of mind. as for a soundsystem, don't bother screwing around with the install yourself its a prick,, get autobarn tyo do it it cost me $90 and there is then a 5 year install gaurantee. totally worth it. (trust me i tried the h/u install and ended up giving up!) apart from that just tidy her up, lots of degreaser and elbow grease and some well chosen mods and it will be lookig great. nice car by the way - Mitcham oh i see it has cruise aswell very nice !!

Gives power windows, mirrors and central locking. Berlinas had power antenna, power steering, air con, cruise control, and auto trans as standard.

Thanks for the comments so far... The interior is grey, i will get some pics when i get a chance,,, Ive spoke to the guy on here about fixing the windows for me, but hes to far,,, (dont mind payin someone to do this) I think i will be doing the system myself, im pretty good at it, ive done a few so ill have a go, just unsure what brand to get... I have had a quote for $700-$900 to fix all the dints, fix all the plastics and respray them, respray the black (around windows), the sills, and spray anyother chips or damaged paint etc etc... (thats including paint) other wise i can get a respray in acrylic, but still unsure on what to do... i will be removing all the plastic shields/protectors etc... wandin54: feel free to post a pic mate...

Well, those options obviously cost money - people can buy the car without them to make what we used to call a poverty pack <model name here>. I've seen a few Berlinas without cruise control, and even newer cars which I know are factory that don't have it - the owners have said that they didn't want it.

thanks for the comments so far, i have a bit of cash readdy to go, so im just wondering what people would recomend doing first... - Lower, Exhaust, Start System - Cut N Polish, Repair & Paint Bumpers

I reckon go for option B for now. The exhaust works so there's no need to replace it just yet. I reckon she'll come out sweet once she's had a decent clean, polish etc. Also, keep the headlight protectors, they probably just need a good clean but it also depends in the condition they're in. What you could probably do is get new headights then re-fit the protectors - it would look sweet. That's what I did with mine.

- Cut N Polish, Repair & Paint Bumpers definately that one, the problem with alot of modified/enthusiast cars is that they would rather put a sports exhaust and stereo before panel and mechanical issues, which it would have if you took it for a good run. get all these problems fixed and then start modifying....

cheers guys, i gave it a really good wash the other day, took all the headlight protectors off etc and washed em all... she came up ok but there looks like there are stains in the paint work, hopefully this comes out with the cut and polished,,, might leave that till the end of june/start of july though... anyone tell me how the chrome trim goes on (around the bars n plastics) also what a good price would be... and any one know where i can get a set of 16" interceptors, and will the fit my VL...
