I did a search but couldn't find anything. I was thinking today has CT ever thought of an Award Day? Like say once a year we have an Official Meet, maybe a BBQ and hand out awards like; Best Paint Tidiest Bay Best Comeback ect. Obviously it could get out of hand in numbers and money is an issue but what like if there was a $25 entry fee or something so its all fund raised. Or even a donation build up for the year and when the time comes who knows! I think it would be a great way to meet other members and really appreciate other peoples rides. I know I'll get posts about Autosalon ect. but comon a VL has no place in Autosalon. People don't go there for VL's know what I mean. What you guys think?

I think you'd need to really think about it. You need to cover hire of place. Cover food. Cover the cost to make the awards. So a Entry plus maybe even a little attendance fee just for support. And it obviously not worth doing if you don't get atleast 200 people. Say a max of 50 entered cars, thats allready $1250. Say 200 people come paying $15 to attend, thats another $3000 It's more than do-able. Just comes down to time I guess. Also states is an issue.

I'd definately support something like that. I think its a great idea. Top non VL ? haha. People wouldnt pay more than a few bucks to come and look but I definately think an entry fee for entrants would be fine. Some food or thought any way. Brett

Ye he might actually profit the way I thought about it haha It's a shame cos we all love VL's But theres really nothing out there for us. Most off us have nice clean cars but would never get an award at Easternats or something. I'm fairly good on PS. I prefer paper awards don't know about the rest. I'll make something later. EDIT: If it becomes to much work, even over the net would be cool with professional looking print outs.

prety sure it would have to be a state by state thing, ie. be done at the end of a realy decent cruise

I think loyal members of each state should help organize it that way we can all have it.
