guys just wondering if your vl's the same as mine ive driven 3 mine and 2 others all 3 where manual mine will spin wheels like no tommorow first gear doesent matter what rpm will spin them all cars used the same tyre if that was the diffrence my car spun them and wouldent stop spining them hit second spun them aswell no worries and 3rd chirps the tyres then got into another vl swapped the tyres on it planted second nothing just toke off slowly manual aswell tried rev and dump 2nd gear no chirp nothing got into the 3rd same thing no power yet with mine there was nearly twice as much also with mine with my lower rpm say from 1000 to 2400 somewhere around there still pulls more then the other but once it comes above this it pulls even more pushes u back into ur seat kind of power i havent had this car on a dyno cant really afford it but was it my luck with picking 2 other bad vl's and the rest are like mine or has mine got something extra? from the previuos owner? any help about how your cars perform simualr to mine or simular to the other 2 vl's would b great so i know if theres something extra with my car or not thank you

maybe your vl is infact not an N/A... and actually a turbo....making 400rwkw... hmmm

maybe he is being legitimate... i have owned a few N/As... and i have to admit - they are...........one of the most boring and most gutless cars ive ever driven, an alright daily.. that sounds 'okay' downlow... thats all they are 'a-to-b cars' thats if you are lucky enough to own a reliable vl. but jeez some people Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Check you diff gear ratio as it sounds like the previous owner may have slipped a bigger ratio centre in the car. I'm not sure what these came out with factory like maybe 3.08:1 but you may have a set of 3.7's or 3.9:1's in the back.

so your saying anyone with diff gears will spin as much as he's saying..no chance mate my advice is to take off in 5th and try not to spin, especially infront of cops you'd want to pull over and wait just incase just lookin out for ya

i agree dif gear ratios, but yet another ct sledging.

ive had a few vls just stock sandard ones all auto and some went better than others :S maybe there like the vns u just get the occasional freak motor :P

my na calais 5 speed spins in 1st and chirps 2nd but thats about it.

Ive driven my mates NA 5spd and it spins 1st and 2nd if ur going slow enought and dump it at the limiter lol LOVES IT! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
