hi all i have a vl v8 on gas, its also duel fuel i want to keep the duel fuel but i wanna get rid of the gas snorkel whats my best option for doing this, will a imco 425 mixer successfully fit on the stock 4 barrel or will i need a plate. and will it fit under the bonnet. all I'm after is a stock look whilst maintaining the gas setup and petrol. it not a performance machine, its just pretty much stock. also is needed to be done by some one with the right tickets or can i do it, i am a qualified motor mechanic by trade.

that won`t work, the 425 will hang of the side, with a different style of gas snorkel, doesn`t sound it`s want you want if your after that kind of look, you can go for one of them mushroom style of mixers, the sit on top of the carby, and l`ll need a different convertor, to much f**king around, just piss the fuel off all together and put a 425 straight on top of the manifold with a quady or 650 holley throttle plate, evan if the motor is stock l`ll notice a different in the way the car drives, and you can do this yourself no ticket required
