I know this has been covered before, but Im considering getting a set of these badboys for the VL. I realise that the centers have to be drilled out larger to suit the VL, the VE wheel studs are 14mm as opposed to 12mm and the VE wheels are a different offset. What I need to know is what thickness spacer do I have to use if needed? With the offset of the VE wheels, do they sit in more or sit out?

Does anyone know if these wheels need spacers?? Surely someone has these on a VL??

I am thinking about getting a set of these wheels, what is the max size tyre to get on these wheels without scrubbing. I tried my brothers XHP Shift 19x8's with 245/35/19's and they scrub on the rear over every bump.

Has your rear guards been lipped... it does help I had a mates VX GTS rims with 245/35/19's and it scraped badly. I got these wheels with 235/35/19 tyres and she doesn't scrub Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hahaha.. If it wasn't for seeing them on your car, I'd probably would still be on stockies... lol Just seems to suit white cars better IMO Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

They look good on the white cars so should look good on mine. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

question, considering buying a set of these and the tyres one them are 245 by 40 i know there a big tyre but can i get away with having them? i never have a full car load so it would only be weight in the front of the car and yes my guards have been rolled

^^Geez I highly doubt it. The fronts would definetely foul the strut tower I reckon. My VY SS's w/ 235/35/18's only just clears them. The backs might be ok if you have adjustable panhard rod.

245/40 wont fit on the front, will hit the spring seat hat or what ever u want to call it

It'll scrape. Just buy the rims only if possible and put your own tyres on them. 245/40's look crap anyway. They look too chunky.
