Is the Gas rebate still alive?

I have been OS for the last few weeks and the word on the street when I left was the the Federal Government was going to quash the gas rebate in their budget. I didn't see a mention of it within the budget documents so I'm guessing it lived. Can anyone shed some more light on this for me?

ive heard it was in the budget cut, but if its cut now or later is the question, i booked mine in before the budget (install date was when i paid my deposit) woo for gas research!
