I have just got a quick question for those of you who have an lpg injected 6 vl. Im about to convert mine to lpg and until i can afford an aftermarket computer for the ignition i will be running the air flow meter and using the standard ecu for time been. Im just wondering what has to be done to the fuel side of things to allow it to run on straight gas. I was assuming all you have to do was disconnect the fuel supply to the injectors and just leave it as is/ possibly take off the injector connectors aswel? If anyone has any more info that would be much appreciated. Cheers

hi normally there is a switch to select between gas and petrol yeah, essentially all that does is cut power to the injectors (stops them pulsing) and the gas takes over. your ECU as a result doesnt really care - it still sees fuel /the combustion process occurring and keeps working... if you need an aftermarket ECU i'm selling an IG5 if that helps?
