Hey I picked up a clean 86' VL exec off of an old italian man for $2000. He was the original owner, 124,456 km and I thought it would be good as a first car. There wasn't much wrong with it other then a new front bumper that hadn't been sprayed and the drivers side window seal needed to be glued. Then I took the pinstrip, mudflaps and badges on the rear off. Sanded back the bumpers and front grill and resprayed the bumpers in asteroid silver and the grill in madeira. I also sprayed the center rear garnish black. I bought new aftermarket tailights to match and make sure the colour looked right and also got rid of the old skool cyo plates, haha. Picked up some vx spac rims 225/50/16" with new tyres for 500 bucks. My brother came home with my car one day with a early 18th b'day present. Lowered pedders springs lol... I'm hoping to get some new rims. Maybe ve gts or vy gts 19"s. The engine bay looks clean as factory, I just havn't gotten around to taking a picture.
