g'day people, i've just recently installed my mandrell bent 3" exhaust. and i've noticed that is sits very close to my tailshaft (near the centre bearing).. it hasn't bothered me yet, but i am going to put a 3" 1 piece tail shaft which will make it touch.. anyone encountered this or have a 3" 1 piece and can tell me what they've done? as i dont want to bend the pipe because then it'll be the lowest point in my car any help would be greatly appriecated.. cheers, sam Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

you shouldnt have any problems with the tailshaft, as the center bearing is like 4+ inchs i think in overall daimter, and one its a one piece its gone.

tdyole88; have you done it have you? i know i have to bend it, i want to see where people have bent it to. if i bend it under the floor pan im going to have a 3" pipe hanging on the side -- i'd rather tuck it away somewhere discrete. MARMO. ; yeh but from the gearbox to the diff i thought, on the angle, it'll hit. -- maybe im wrong though ?!

na i havnt done it, but the problem seems easy enuf to work out what needs to be done. wak in the single piece anyway and see what happens.

it'll only move vertically, i dont/cant see why the exhaust would be under the tailshaft?
