Ok due to being a father to twins soon ive decided the Senator has to go and make way for a more family friendly car like a wagon. I understand the Senator is a large car but just doesn't have the boot space for carting around a twin pram ect and getting things in and out of the boot all the time will be a pain so a wagon is really the only option. At first i considered a VX-VY 5.7L V8 wagon but would like something more sporty, something different and wouldn't mind something turbo... So its come down to the Stagea or the Legum... At the moment im looking at 1998-2000 models so its the single turbo Nissan Neo6 vs twin turbo Evo engine... Just after peoples opinions on both of these cars, any flaws in the car's (motors, gearboxes ect), which is better for easy mods, better performance ect...

go the nissan stagea, they have the driveline from a skyline(gearbox if from a gts-4 or something) and they have that whole attesa 4wd system, good stuff, but apparently there driveshafts are abit weak, but if your ot going to mod it heaps then that would be the car of choice, and they really well priced for what they have, twin sunroofs etc!

I've owned 2 Legnum VR4s. They are 2.5L V6 twin turbo 4WD (not EVO engines). Personally I wouldn't buy another one because once they start getting over 100,000kms they become very expensive to own. Steering rack and auto gearbox are the worst and fuel usuage isn't good either Nice quick sport wagon though

Ive always liked the Stegea as well, and you cant go wrong with the rb motors, if you have the dosh get one of the ones with the rb26.

Been looking at a Stagea.. Decent price, low kms, bodykit, twin sunroofs, mags ect

^^ that r34 front looks awesome, but i dont like the kit at all... skirts are too low to the ground... makes the suspension look 4wd spec.

Are the R34 fronts a direct bolt on? What are some cheap and easy mods for these? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Wow, what a tread bump. You can get R34 front end conversion kit which is a direct bolt on but they dont come that cheap, especially if you purchase GTR headlights and bonnet ect. Good simple mods are 3" exhaust, turbo up pipe, intake, 11-12psi boost and bigger fmic. My old Stagea pulled 132awkw on the Dyno untuned with the above mods. Head over to SAU aswell, they have a deticated Stagea section on their forum.
