so is cutting holes behind your seat for subs . . . at least bonnet gauges can be taken off when you get defected.

its a defect if the cups are brighter then the color of your car..

yer chrommed gauge cups are defectable, cos they can reflect and distract drivers. As far as i no ifthere the same colour as your car or black.. you can have them There not hard to mount, did it on my car easily enough. But the wiring side of things I'm not to sure about. Doubt it'd be that involved tho

They are defectable no matter what colour the cups are! i just got done for them, they restrict your view apparently! Other than that, mount them on the plastic vent, easy as!

mount them using cable ties, makes it easier to take them off if you do get done having said that... ive had mine on for about a year now and no cop has ever said anything about them i dunno if its because they just dont care... or.. because when i do get pulled over, theyre too concerned with seeing whats under the bonnet, not on it, so they forget about them (also, once the bonnet is open and theyre looking for dose pipes/bovs/whatever, you cant see the gauges so they forget all about them) i wouldnt worry about getting done for them

Mine are colour coded to the car, and I havent had a drama with the boys in blue. As I understand it here in WA, if they do not restrict your vision or obscure objects less than 10 metres away, and are not brighter than the exterior duco (paint) of the car then they are deemed to be legal

Mine are also painted body colour and I've never had a problem with them. I mounted them on the plastic grill on the bonnet, with a strip of sheet metal underneath for abit of support. Piece of piss to hook up Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

GRKWPN... STFU you wanker. I can have chrome cups on my car! Gauges are not to be brighter than the panelwork of the car... well... just so happens I have chrome bumpers, windscreen wipers and window surrounds. If the gauges are too bright ill have to take off ALL of the chrome on the car! Also as has been mentioned you must be able to see the ground 11m away clearly without the gauges hindering your sight. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
