Hey guys, im in the market for a new car at the moment and am looking at either a 60/62 series toyota landcruiser or a GQ nissan patrol. They are both around the same price range and would like to know which would be better value. I will be getting a petrol/gas one, turbo diesel is too expensive now with the price of diesel. So what would i be better off getting? thanks

A GQ would be my choice. Slightly biased though Do 60 series still have leaf springs? What engine do they run? Here is mine: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

not exactly sure on the engine, all i know is that they are a straight six engine (the 80 series have v6 and blow heads on gas like no tomorow). Im pretty sure they have leaf springs. Looking at a 60 series on ebay as we speak. Starting bid of $4000 on it. It has 2 inch lift kit, 31" tyres, winch, dual batery etc. Looks pretty neat.

60 series diesel straight six was a 2h motor which is the best diesel motor in the 60 series we had a hj60 with 900 thousand ks on it with no rebuilt stil going strong

it would be used for mainly work purposes but 4wding every now and then. I was thinking maybe getting a patrol with a rb30 (non turbo) in it? how do these go in the patrol?
