my cars off to the panel shop next month and as per the rest of my build, its gotten a bit out of hand. so thoughts of shaved handles have come to mind. whats everyones thoughts on them!? im a little undecided as chrome handles do look nice, but so do shaved handles lol. i had thought of the full shaved door (the middle mould bit) but that look isnt what im after. will also be shaving aerial and fuel flap. got any pics of shaved handles, or any other items on VB-VL, please post them up Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Honestly I dont think shaved door handles suit the shape, remember that yellow VL that was "fully shaved" did you like that ? ...I didn't. Shave the rest though (aerial, locks, flap). Have you considered installing flusher sitting handles ? just a thought.

I agree it looks mint, except for that missing bit you were talking about ...... HALF THE FRONT BUMPER!!!! I'm 99% sure that's the same car that's in the current Street Machine Commodores (on sale now at your nearest newsagency now ), just with different plates and wheels. If so it's an absolute beauty and I'm even prepared to forgive the "damaged" front bumper. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

This is my mates VN, Legally modded handles. Has been checked with VicRoads. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

in nsw in the engineers books u need a mechanical way of opening your doors my panel beater told me u need 2 mechanical door releases on all doors for example if u shave your door handles u need 2 make up for what u got rid of obviously, my panel beater recently done a lancer 2 door and just used 2 bonnet releses off mirages or some small car and located them under the front gaurds, his engineer said if it is under the guard there must be a sticker saying door pointing towards it to make it legal
