im not sure if the physical height might be an issue. I know with people putting BA engines into X series cars they have clearance problems with the front of the motor hitting the bonnet. just some more food for thought. Also in terms of engine management they do not run a dizzy so you will need to work that out aswel.

Why not do an sohc rb30 up plenty of parts on the shelf for them, nothing has to be custom (unless you want it to be). And people are making lots of power with these engines. i think either way, wether you do up an sohc rb30 or do a different engine conversion, its gonna end up costing roughly the same amount of money. personally i would do up an rb30 and have forged internals rather than putting in a different engine.

Huge potential in that sort of setup, and i dare say it'll be a one of a kind for a while. It might try and find a pole to try and neck itself tho... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I really just dont have to much faith in the ford motor. you here of all these so called people making big power in them, but you never see them run the numbers......i dont understand...... maybe the old saying FORD . . . F**Kd On Race Day...... Go a Rb25/30 or Rb26/30 or a 2J...... they will out do the 4.0l box.

cause theyre heavy cars. i have one and they make massive torque but the dont run numbers due to the weight that is a photoshop btw,the whole bay is from a ba flacon

that pic looks pretty real but nice copy and paste job..... there will be alot to consider about this for me.... theres a magnetic throttle sensor ,clearance issue, and second what gearbox to run due to ford having huge toruqe transfer getting that to fit as well and i think it might be a first for a VLT with a xr6t i think alot of ppl will be rubbing there eyes when the bonnets up.........ive seen a nissan patrol with the xr6t converstion on the net but too me it seems like a WILD idea ... all i gotta do is just see whats its gonna $$$$$$$$$ and is it worth it
