i did a search and havent really come to a conclusion on what the problem is so here it goes. putting in a turbo setup soon and trying to iron out a auto problem. pretty much my overdrive has a mind of its own. rarely it will click through 1,2,3,4 and drive the way it should but other times (most of the time) it will go 1,2,4. when i hit the over drive button or put my foot down nothing, just stays in the high gear. any ideas?? could it be a loose connection? some say said to check the solonoid, some said the ecu, some said spedo cable (needle jumps around a bit)... cheers.

I have heard this problem before i was reading something about it being the overdrive solonoid http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showth...auto+overdrive (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=126700&highlight=auto+overdrive) i cant exactly find the thread considering it was ages ago but it has been brought up before sorry for the lack of help. Cheers Jake

I've got a very similar problem to this, however my pwr/ovedrive button only seems to work on warm/hot days an when it does work its a lot nicer to drive, so it really bugs me. Any ideas?
