i god a ecu,no diffference between manual and auto computer tho

there is a difference in the map somewhere, had an auto ecu in my manual calais and it was a pain in the ass, everytime you got off the throttle you had to put the clutch in otherwise it tried to send your face into the windscreen. something to do with auto computer not cutting the fuel on the overrun.

nah i agree with calais3L you notice a difference with a manual ecu compared to a auto one. the auto ecu under a certain rpm will change the injector pulse differently under deceleration compared to the manual ecu. feels like driving a vl turbo with a n/a ecu. its just crap!

I've always been under the impression that auto computers work in both, but manual computers only work in manuals. Never tried though, so this is good to know. Only in emergency eh? What's wrong with your motor? or is it a 2L? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
