Gday, I've had this for about a month now and i've decided to go for a full steel bonnet (need cash too) so this is up for sale. As the title states - it's a genuine VY steel bonnet and the vents have been fibreglassed on. It looks pretty decent but its in black primer at the moment and needs a paint. There are a few scratches on the edges of the bonnet which will disappear when painted and also a couple of minor dings on the edges of the bonnet which aren't very noticable. I do not have the Monaro plastic vent inserts so you'll have to buy two from Holden (not very expensive from memory). The fibreglass job is decent and relatively cleanly done (i've seen much much worse but better as well). The vents were cut very cleanly and are quite frankly excellently done in my opinion. Inspection is more than welcome. The bonnet is currently at a panel beaters at Sandgate. They were going to paint it for me but in four weeks, they hadn't even primed it. Went and had a talk with them today about its progress and spoke to a painter who said they could paint it but didn't know if it would meet my expectations of quality due to the fibreglassing.
