Holden VL Commodore BT1 [yellow] Manual Heavily Modified RB30ET HOLDEN 1988 VL COMMODORE BT1 YELLOW FOR SALE Hey guys, i have for sale a fine example of a genuine yellow 1988 Turbo BT1. I have owned the car for the last 5 years and in this time i have heavily modifed the car, these include: - reco LSD diff with 3.7 gear ratio - reco tailshaft - new fuel pumps with surge tank - reco MX7 gearbox - new clutch worth $1000 - microtech lt8s with 3bar map sensor - new brakes with reco calipers - autometer ultra lite oil pressure,water temp,volts, boost pressure and moster tacho - custom velour interior (spent $1500) - strengthened and polished reco head with new oversized valves, new valve spings, head bolts - new dizzy, dizzy cap, ignighter and custom leeds - 550cc injetors - rajab inlet manifold - wade 1147c cam - Garrett GT35R 700hp turbo with 106 rear housing - turbosmart 48mm wastegate all work done less than 1500km ago. car was dynoed at 266rwkw on 15psi but should make about 320rwkw on 22psi as you can see there is many modifications that have been done to the car, but if you want to know anymore do not hesitate to contact me on [phone removed]. hey mate. nice car. good price. what's the condition of the bottom end? ever been rebuilt? how many kms? standard or forged? use oil? any blow by etc?

Has done big end bearing, around 250,000kms approx, has a tiny bot of rust around front windows otherwise sound like a very nice car!

so the bottom end is fcuked pretty much? 250000kms in with a spun big end bearing? needs rebuilding.

SIRSLE - Did you speak with GMCHASER, is the Bottom end bearing fact correct? Iv Pm'ed GMCHASER a few times but had no responce.

the car has got a spun big end bearing, no front bumper bar because i put onto my other vl and my brother had an accident in but i have all brand new front end plactics(full bumper bar, grill and side bits) that need paint( i also have the paint)car also has a bit of rust comming through the widscreen. look guy the car has been my pride and joy for a few years now and i have spent more money on modifications in the last 12 months that what im selling the car for. even though the bottem end has done a bearing the car still drivers. the car is also an original 1988 yellow bt1 even with the engine the way it is (which i can rebuilt for $1500) and no front bar( which i paint myself) the car is fairly cheap for this much.

car is still 4 sale and will not dissapoint at that price

If you ever consider selling the car in parts mate, i would be interested in looking at the transmission. Just thought id put it out there lol good luck with the sale
