Have my first "forged" piston engine RB30T,wondered what viscosity/brand of engine oil people are using at the moment ? (QLD) Also, (those of you that have forged pistons) how long you warm your engine up before driving,or is it OK to just drive slow (off boost) untill running temp is reached? Thanks, MT

Mobil 1 Oil (5w/50) is fine for your engine if its fairly new and/or in good condition (I use that oil). With regards to warm up, start up car and idle for 30 secs or 1 min max then drive off slowly/normally (no boosting) until engine reaches operating temp. The quicker your car warms up, the better it is. A car sitting just idling would take a while to reach operating temp, driving off slowly gets it there quicker and its better for things such as fuel mixture getting to normal parameters (mixtures) after a cold start.
