Also forgot to mention, r34 5 speed box. standard clutch which is starting to slip a little bit. Just need new dump pipe and to put my cooler back on and il put some new photos up. Hopefully have it tuned in the next 6 weeks and expecting around 300rw, have a 60mm proboost wastegate 18psi spring on there (probably way too big), xforce stainless manifold, avo stage 2 cooler with 3" pipes. Standard intake, standard head. Last tune (before i brought it) it made 240rwkw on 10psi. Then when installing new manifold turbo etc (After the old one cooked itself) I noticed massive boost leak (loose manifold bolts) Also loose engine mounting bolts (no spring washers) which has been fixed and misaligned power steering also. cant wait to go for a drive again, unfortunately funds are holding back a twin plate clutch or similar. Interior is scheel seats retrimmed in 4 hide leather, I will put some more pics up when i can get it out of the shed. It has a minispooled rear end with 3.9's - also has vt front brakes and all brakes reconditioned, pedders adjustable strut tops at the front, gsr inserts. and rear bilstien with king springs all round.

Here is some more photos I installed au falcon thermo fans, the manifold is an xforce manifold, probably end up cracking it doesnt look the best, just goto sort out some funds for the dump pipe & I want to run the cooler piping somewhere other then the hole in the guard. but having the thermos makes it a bit different. Also heres a photo of my daily. 68 hk premier, four wheel discs (hq), 10 bolt diff, 202 and 4 speed. hg front end, all new bushes springs shocks etc. I was contemplating putting an rb30det into it ages ago, but then i brought the vl. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Updates :: I had good quality low mount lines for the turbo so instead of throwing them out, I went to pirtek and got some extension pieces & some top quality hose for about $50, the hose isnt near any heat areas so will be good. So braided lines are installed, Primed up the turbo but I am having problems with the fuel pump blowing fuses so no go. The avo cooler that was on the car when purchased was mounted basically back on the radiator, it had no brackets & was held on by zip ties. Say hello to blowing off cooler pipes! So I am now mounting it up front & should recieve intercooler pipiing in the next couple of days to fab something up. Looking forward to getting the pipes over the rocker cover without hitting the bonnet. Should be a big improvement with 2.5" cooler pipe right through as well. Got a stainless cover on the manifold now too. besides that not much, cashflow gets you at the best of times. Cooler piping will give me something to do, shouldnt be too hard Anyway heres another couple of pics. And once im done with the cooler piping & fix the fuel pump fuses ,might have to run a direct seperate relay to solve the problem. Will get her on a truck down to redcliffe dyno & they can fab dump pipe & dyno tune the bizatch. Cant wait. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yea thats the plan, being a same side exit intercooler & also the increased width from manifold & deck hight will make the piping fun. Im probably going to run the plenum cooler pipe down the ram tube if It will clear the bonnet and then if all goes well will run the hotside piping straight down under the lower tie bar and plug it up. It all sounds good in theory but I think I will have to buy rb26 cam covers to move the breathers. Also the piping will almost hit the manifold when I put the housing downwards, Its a bitch if I could change anything since my internal gate blew up it would be not to put a high mount setup on! Some more updates, Intercooler piping has been recieved this arvo, straight into it dummy fitting it trying to see what I can do, came up with something like this. Because of the height of the front of the motor cant fit a pipe anywhere past those breathers, so unfortunately intake pipe is going to have to run close to the turbo maybe an inch or so clearance once i trim it down, the two pipes in the ram tube are just there to give me an idea on how much to trim also. (obviously just one pipe) Anyway decided to run the hotside cooler pipe underneath the lower tie. And it runs up beside and in between power steering pump/ hoses. Have to get a couple of 90 degree silicon hoses to try it all out before I start trimming, but im fairly happy with how its looking. By the way this cooler piping was brought off ebay, from seller au turbo, its a good buy paid less then 200 for 8 different bits of pipe 7 straight silicon and 14 hose clamps, the best part about it is it has pro flared ends on it. Saving a few bux again compared to other sellers so props to him. Plus its shiny! Im only 21 working as a spare parts interpreter so money could be better, but slowly getting to the stage where I can drop it off at dyno and drive it home. Still goto pay it off before I go crazy tho. And if you have any better ideas or pics on what I might do with the pipe work let us know, theres bugger all clearance ! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey mate, I have brought it off ebay. I saw it as a bargain for all the work thats been done and had to see it. The car had alot of little problems but it has alot of good reciepts and alot of cash spent over the years, better photos & write up would of made this car alot more expensive. It has a fair few new old stock parts. Ive fixed a few things he gave up on, but the motors been forged, it really needed a tune, the turbo buggered about 4 weeks after I got it (partially my bad) manifold had big boost leak. Engine mounts were loose, clutch is on the way out, fuel pumps were draining & blowing out wiring, internal pump dead. Front suspension was like a boat. All in all pretty good got about $10,000+ spent just on the interior (which is exy, but its top quality leather in good nick. New dash etc) engine sounds and runs really well, never driven a car so smooth. (after I did my bit) Gearbox is a reco with all new parts. (r33) cost around about $2700. Receipts diff work, rebuilt open centre with minispool & new axels $1200. Its had the money spent on it over the time but alot of suspension parts have worn out. And electrical is a bit dodge. But I never buy somethings thats perfect wheres the fun in that. I would of liked the turbo to last longer, but at the same time the injectors and fuel pumps wernt keeping up. The car hasnt been run over 12psi as far as I can tell. The fuel system wasnt keeping up. I think the main things that made him sell the car are fuel pump fuse blowing out. Easily sorted. And the power steering was throwing off belts about the same time, (when you dump it or get high in the boost.) He was pretty honest, i found out about the steering pump myself. He also said the car had a minor hit in the front, which was repaired pretty well (have had a good look) And I think that was the problem with the pump, soon find out. But yea ive done alot to fix this thing up slowly cause Im not made of cashish. But happy as a pig in **** with the car and cant wait till the tax return allows me to tune her up big and leave some liquorice straps down the road.

Got any more pics of the back seat? I'm looking for ideas on how to do mine to match my fronts which are identical to yours

Hey mate sure do. Chucked in some door trim pics too. The trim looks like it might be dirty in some spots but Its just the flash playing tricks on the shiny'ness. Unfortunately because of the spool and my crappy garage I cant get the car outside to take pics (hard enough to get in) but in the next 2/3 weeks I will clean her up and take her outside when im done with cooler pipes & dump. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
