In every one of the 3 VL's that i have owned the A/C Fan system hasnt worked properly, for example when the fans are off air is still leaking out and when you have it on one function it will work but it might not work on another function. i have an 11 month old so i need the A/C Fan system to work properly, just wondering if any one has had problems with there A/C Fan system and got them fixed? Whear did you (would i have to) go to get it fixed and was it very expencive?? Thanks to anyone who can healp out, TOM.

Not sure if this will fix it, but check that the vacuum hoses on the back of the Control Switch are all connected...

Good point, mine were all very loose when I had my dash out. It's a good idea to clip them all by 5mm or so and re-connect them so you've got a nice tight seal. Make sure you take note of where they go too... Otherwise I've found the actual fan switches always use a good clean so they work properly.

Cheers guys, il give it a whirl and see how it go's. Might even document it and do a tech article on it if it hasnt already been done.

Following on from VLT-025, each hose, from factory had a number, which will correspond to a number on the switch, these numbers were taped to the hose but like most things that age they come off. A suggestion is to record the number on some masking tape and tape it around the hose. - This may not help if someone else has had the dash out and just hooked them up to any number...
