Hello all, A quick question to all who have done a similar conversion to this... What accel cable did people use, the VN V8 one is too long, which means there is about 20mm too much slack at the throttle body...

im pretty sure if you go to a bike shop you can buy the little ends of the cable that slide into the throttle body, then you can simply shorten the cable and add the new end on. just a suggestion, but i would of thought the vn cable would work.

Using the STD VN V8 one in mine. Sounds as though you may be missing the rubber bush that goes through the firewall?

mate i used a vn v8 cable, cut it to lengh and used a small electrical wire clamp, the ones that come in a plastic covering with two screws ontop. i just removed the insulation plastic and clamped it down. works a treat
