A big congratulations to Chris (Suxgas) for running a 10.33@130.5. He beat his previous pb of 10.44@128.4. He had a total of 3 passes a 10.58, 10.33 & 10.38 all around the 130mph mark. As you may already know Chris' car is on straight lpg and is a full weight Calais, and more impressively, drove to the track and back home!! Congratulations yet again!

I did have some transbrake issues, which gave me trouble staging the car but the real problem was it would disengage at the wrong time, which really means i couldn't take off when i wanted. Problem found and solved, it was a faulty switch. when are you hitting the track??

The car wont run a 9 as it sits. Its a full weight calais and im not a jockey either i weigh 122kg, i think as the car sits it could run somewhere in the 10.1s but no faster. I will not strip any weight out of the car, its my daily and i don't want to dedicate it just for track. I've already acheived my goal with the car so from here on in its just all a bonus Come on Paul it probably costs more to fill the GTO up every week, then to race at calder Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
