I've been reading this site for 6+ years and im glad that theres afew NZ people that i can relate to as far as VL's are concerned. i remember in 2002 when there was only 4 people interested in VL's here...sad. Well my '87 VL Calais is RB30E [ ], i have wanted to Turbo it for some time however finding a T3/4 and other parts is hard here as you would know. Im going to turn it into a show/street car, ive got 19" HSV VY Senator Sig rims and a high quality 3 amp, 1 sub E-Audio/DD sound system and with the funds ive got im going to paint/colour it Candy apple red over silver and try to get a turbo package for it. The goal is to have the best overall VL Calais Turbo in NZ. cheers guys, Steve. hopefully i can get off my as$ and have it done in time for afew cruises. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hello steve, Man you've been here for a long time,There seems to be alot of VL's getting built at the moment for shows I know of 3 and and there looks to be 2 semi serious drag VL's so things are looking really good for the VL scene. I also am building the wag to a standard I hope will be a serious show VL But this is awsome heaps of NZ guys are poping up everywhere All the best for the build keep us updated cheers Mike
