Purchased this turbo off John and recieved the item started opening it when i realised it was internal gated nothing was said about it being internal gated, i was howling but i thought ahh well we can live with that kept opening the item and turned it over to see straight away that it had the smaller comp cover the .50ar instead of the usual (garrett) .70ar howling but again could have lived with that but the crunch moment was when i took my first look at the comp wheel which was obviously a tiny tiny gt28 wheel or similar.
I rang the guys and told them the problem they proceeded to say the turbo was off a ba falcon which i quickly commented that no its not as this is what we were actually comparing it to once we realised it was the wrong turbo.
I also took it straight out to 2 reputable garrett dealers in my local area and was told straight up this turbo is not a gt35 its a made up unit a (bitza) was what they reffered to it as.
I rang the guys straight away on the land line and the mobile and did actually get an answer i was told ok ive got another gt35 (2nd hand) which i will send you express this was last thursday still havent seen it or heard anything.
Ive personally rang these guys about 10 times at least both on there mobile and on the land line and have never even got a sniff o a return phone call email nothing and i do realise people get busy but hey i was good enough to hand the money over and recieve something which is not what it was said to be so im quite sure i should get something but its yet to happen.
If they would have told me what i was getting before i deposited my money i wouldnt have even took a 2nd look but a saving of $300 in this day and age is enough to warrant buying something over the internet also when you consider these guys are supposed to be a reputable company.
I have added a couple of pictures below of the turbo i recieved and one we have here for comparison.
REAL GT35 vvv
you will notice the obvious size dif in the comp wheel and it only has 6 blades instead of the above one with 7 LOL
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Itll be a laugh for me and the rest of this online community once you do and i let everyone in on it.

Its funny how this thread keeps being cleaned by mods there were a few posts even from last night that have been wiped,Ive never recieved a pm about why it was deleted etc or any type of pm asking about there dealings even when ive contacted site operators and mods about it.
IMO you guys (ct mods/operators) just seem to wanna cover up and hide the facts of this matter ie the post above (QUOTE) made by me,What was soo bad about that and others supporting my claim for that matter???
Do sponsors ie (workshops) pay for this type of super service? Ive paid john $1350 which i assume is enough to pay his dues here for what 12mths i spoze inturn giving the seller protection against me the BUYER when they have clearly done the wrong thing by a willing and unsuspecting customer??
If it were just another free user or even one that pays there $10-$20 im sure you would have no problem letting it run.
I think this site and its operators need to take a look at the facts here and do something about this as its not isolated event, this seems to keep going on and on,the bottom line is without the customers to support these sponsors they wouldnt even be here.
I also think for any prospecting customer let this serve as a warning bell when dealing with so called reputable big name workshop/sponsors on this site.

Of course mate cheers :) called/left messages/sent emails/pmd him also but got no responses by any form of contact for 2wks,Not until 2 hours after i started the last thread (DELETED) due to droves of unhappy customers and baggers,it had a link to this thread in it and i called got 2 words in hi john and he abused me like i was a piece of dirt.
Ive never been verbally abused/threatened as hard as what he gave me over the phone but this was in response to me lowering myself and starting a thread about it as the professional approach did nothing for me.
From my point of view he did this just to end communication with me,You know the typical i owe you x amount of dollars but if i tell you to get fuicked i dont owe you anything.
The way he conducts his buisness leaves alot to desire thats for sure im certain once i reveal some touchy information to the operators of this site and to all us enthusiests about the matter which ive previously held close to my chest most people will then understand why this has become such a big deal and alot more then just a loss of $1350.

11-05-08, 16:58 GMT+10#14 UPDATE: This is a PM from john a bit over a week back!
I cant wait as well for the space!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You still going on after all the ****,and in the end i told you, send it back and ill return all your money and postage,or for your self to come down,or send one of your mates down i said i would of refunded all the cost,or you could of given to your mates that you sent down last week, lol backed fired champ.
You see when you have paper work where it did come from, yes a turbo dealer there is not much that can be done
Now i will say it for the last time send it back, and as long as there is no damage at all,i will refund all your money, ill even give you $50.00 extra for your troubles.
Now if you got no time to send it"or to drive down, let me know and ill come down my self to refund the $$$ and to pick the turbo up..
RESPONSE:
Firstly i never sent anybody around mate im not that silly.Which is part of the reason i never drove down in the first place as i was advised that legally it was the wrong thing to do coming to your premises.
The only people that would have come was your friends from victorian police!
Yeah mate still bit gripey over the whole situation you put me in.
The situation being that you sold me stolen goods OK not only was it not what you described it as but STOLEN cmon mate give me a break.
This was confirmed when i recieved a phone call from victoria police.
Now the problem is now that i have become involved in your stolen goods racket and have had to hand over the turbo to the nsw police i no longer have it to get my refund back so you can understand why it was never sent back after you promised me a refund.
Either way i believe now its your duty to give my money back for the unit.
As a customer i dont think i should have to wear the brunt of your dirty dealings no matter if you knew about it or not thats no concern to me at all, it wasnt me who accepted the stolen goods and passed them on im just a pawn in all this.
I made a statement with the police about the situation to prevent me being the one charged with possesing stolen property/or the sale of it.
In response to this i hope you can now understand why i was soo furious about the situation not to mention the $1350 i lost ontop of the $1800 i had to fork out to replace the unit.
$3150 for the turbo all up now thats a real bargain isnt it?
Would love to hear what you can do about this situation mate.
I carnt imagine that anybody out there would be happy about the situation ive been dragged into if it were them.
Look forward to hearing back on this!

Mate when the detective on the case contacted me thats when i knew about it.
I never contacted them they are obviously browsing this site more often then most would like to think.
Made me wonder how they got my phone number etc but anyways its good to see somebody stuck there neck out for me even though they did take the unit from me but thats niether here nor there they have a job to do and they did it i just gave them every piece of info i could regarding the matter and now i just want my money back.
Brecsiani should refund me my money and then seek restitution from whoever sold them the turbo, mind you he said it was a turbo dealer and he has the paperwork for it.
Im the end of the line so John should chase up the guy get the cash back and so on and so on until it gets back to whom the culpruit was that stole it and passed it on in the first place but ive got a feeling it was only one stop away from brescianis with the info i have on hand.

11-05-08, 20:11 GMT+10#20 live and learn hey. there's been enough ***in stories going around for years about how the business runs there..
comes down to whether u want to take a pointles risk wasting ur time there..
wat goes around comes around mate... and when i say that you know wat im talking about. you've read alot of threads.
Hope u get some money back.. if not.. take it as an expensive learning lesson and recoup the cost another way with the car. The site should support victims of this sort of **** I rekon..
www.calaisturbo.com.au (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au) - for sale section insurance... part of the membership fee should be put aside to aid in situations like this where trying to get the money back 'instantly' is almost impossible.
the members give alot to the site.. this could be a way for the site to give something back in extreme circumstances where this **** happens.
