Hey guys, I'm wanting to purchase a front facing plenum for my rb25det conversion. Not going for big horsepower or anything, just want one to tidy up the engine bay and shorten plumbing etc. Would like to know peoples experiences(good or bad) with the various plenums available. I have heard the GReddy rip-offs on TM are sh1te, anyone know to the contrary? I'm building this project on a tight budget, so cheaper is better, but I don't wanna buy something that is gonna have an adverse effect on performance. Already done a fairly extensive interent search, and it seems that there are hundreds of the GReddy types about for around the $300/$400 mark, then there is a huge jump in price to the $800+ plenums, and nothing in between Any advice appreciated. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Is a aftermarket intake plenum really neccesary? I would be going for powerfc, fuel + hiflow or 35/40 before a plenum. Anyway, speak to some of the sponsers on this site, some sell RB25DET plenums.
