Don't know what it will be, I want to spend some money on my house first At this stage I am thinking either VS Senator 215 or VX GTS 300 as I don't really want to do another engine/box conversion. Depends on how much cash I have to throw at another weekend car Whatever I do it will be built to the same standard or higher than my VL

What's all this then?? I finally see your car in the flesh and now you're selling it! Jeez now i have a decision to make... Do i really need to keep saving for a house or should i just buy your car?? I mean i'm sure i could sleep across the back seat... Hmmmm... ... No that would be silly - or would it?? Back to reality tho... good luck with the sale and i hope it finds a home in the CT family and i hope the new owner gives it the respect it deserves!! Cheers, Jason

What did you guys think of it in real life... did it live up to the pictures?? I was thinking it could be a good daily driver if the lower kit was removed and the bonnet and boot replaced with stock ones... wouldn't cost much to do that

I agree completely. Too much effort has gone into it so see it destroyed by careless people in car parks and stones from our quality roads! Needs to be a weekend car. Jason

Looks sh1t hot mate, and you must be gutted at the prospect of selling it. The colour makes it stand out for me, definately not your average Walky rep. Oh, and those 5.0 V8s have got to be one of the best sounding 8s ever. Where did ya get your wheels from? I've priced them up directly from HSV (mates rates) and the $ they want in NZ is horrendous! Good luck with the sale.

Yeah the old 304s are pretty good sounding engines, the charger helps with the sound too PM me re HSV rims Quote: Originally Posted by RB30E there is only one thing id like to see happen to it...........the original hp style mags back on it!!!!! other than that its a cool car alex ALEX your BUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i seen ur comment in the $260,000 walkinshaw thread..."id rather spend 260k on this that 20k on an old yellow cop car" HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha :P The HP rims didn't ride nicely so I got rid of them. A warning to you guys, don't buy rims that are made in china for a marketing company to put there badge on, so many are like that now. Stick to ROH, Simmons, Rial, BBS etc if you want your car to drive well. I put the VX GTS rims on because I knew I was selling and thought they would appeal to more people than the mesh dish look I make comments about BT1s all the time to piss off all the wankers that think they are worth heaps as stock low k minters. Some people in AU rank them like limited edition HDT/HSV cars when in fact they are just an old cop car. Dont get me wrong, I like them a lot, but think they should be modified and thrashed instead of being stock show style cars Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The old rims were hot, but if they were no good, no point in keeping them. I am also considering that style of wheel for my car. What is with those Aussies, they *****ing cream themselves over stockers. Don't understand it myself. I think its a crack up when you read some of the threads where people ask about what they should do to their cars. Response usually reads; paint it xxxx over silver, calais front, ventians, lowered on stock rims. Lets make all our cars look the same! Reckon us kiwis could show em a thing or two! Ditto your thrash comment - cars are made to be driven.

But it's pretty stupid though because people will pay heaps to have the same thing done on a standard car to bring it up to the same level.

I don't expect to get back what I've spent. I expect less than half
