Hey guys as above switches are fine - however the rear drivers side window is left open. i pulled the door skin off and its a bunch of cables that wont move to force the window up. without repairing the motor, how do i get this damn window up manually? cheers

Honestly Petros i don't think you can get it to go up manually, as the motor holds the window in place while not rotating. If you really need it up i suggest unhooking the cable (bitch of a job to re install although it is do-able) and jamming a long screwdriver in there from the bottom of the door skin then with the top squeezing between the seal and the glass to hold it up. Dodgey, although it does work.

Theres not much you can do, Petros - the motor has to be removed to repair it, and then the cable will come off the pulleys. If you take it out, you could drill a couple of small holes through the steel beneath the door trim and put a couple of bolts to support the window. Otherwise, repair the motor or get yourself a new one and whack it back in. Its not THAT hard to put the cables back in the right way, once you know how.
