hmm guys i got my turbz right, now what i can see is that the big oil return is at the bottom and the oil feed is at the top, does it matter when you top mount it that the oil feed as at the bottom and oil return is at the top, will this cause me problems??? also, how hard should it be to move the wastegate? pretty hard? and also, is there any way to know if the turbz is ****ed? as in blown seals? theres no shaft play and can you rotate the front section from the back? and why does the bit that feed the air to the TB have a 3 bolt design? i havnt seen this before???

I'm pretty sure only the RB20 turbos had the 3 bolt flanged intake. And the oil return should be centered and at the bottom, the oil feed should be centered and on the top otherwise the oil will not fully coat the bearings inside. Seriously man don't high mount it, it makes absolutely no sense you will make no extra power, be 30 times more likely to get ****ed by cops, have a less reliable car and it will cost a heap more to get up and running and look stupid.

that top pic is definalty not a 25 turbo, it looks to be a VL or FJ20 t3, the 2nd pic is definately a 20/25 type turbo Quote: Originally Posted by Munro- This is a standard RB25 turbo RB20 turbo: Note one of the right is the RB20 with the 3 bolt flange Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

RB20 turbos are fully sick, a mate had one on his high comp, did the best skids ever, for about an hour lol. He got sick of 7 psi so the wastegate was held shut, hence the reason the car lasted an hour. Loud as **** dose too lol
