That car is a machine....used to race here at ruapuna all the time its a beast!!!!! That's the 3L rocker cover though, right? I thought the RB20E had a different (curvier) rocker cover?

nope thats the 2l, in the holden they were the same, nissan used the "curvier" rocker cover

The 2L is a bit shorter (lower deck height) and has a different inlet manifold with the throttle cable bracket bolted to it instead of on the cylinder head. Apart from that the differences are all internal.

Yeah they are easy to tell apart, 2L plenums are completely flat across the top, 3L plenums slope down. I saw that auction on trademe, but as soon as I saw 'Rally.. 2000cc' I hit the back button as fast as possible. I can imagine trying to race in one of them, sitting there yelling 'GO!!!!!!'.

that 2L plenum looks exactly like my turbo one, just the throttle cable bracket is different (as calais3L said) huh go figure !

Shouldn't your's be much blockier?.. post a pic to compare And don't you just want to stick some of those guard covers to the back of your wagon.. lol.
