hi everyone, im selling my VL. it is a 1987 Factory Calais Turbo. it does need a little TLC for a road worthy but otherwise has been a great car. reason for selling is that i melted the pistons in the old motor and i ended up buying another car. i will personally be fixing the car and eventially selling the car for the full price, but i am putting the car up now at a cheap price in case someone here is wanting a little project. Current Condition: right now the car is stock standard bar the transmission (details later). I have put in a new motor wich is running fine (so the car is running). i has a group A kit on exept the front bar, and a retrimmed interior. i am in two minds about buying a new front bar, or taking the kit off and doing the calais silver bottom. this is whats needed for a roady: - new steering collum (wheel is a LITTLE loose) - general tidy up (things like the bonnet release cable is loose) - new wheels (wheels are 18", and you will need some 16"s or something just for a roady. the current tyres on the car are awesome toyo tyres, and grip f*kn really well) if you want the car in tip-top shape: - new front group A bar - some paint work (yes there is little peices of rust, i know any rust is bad rust, but this isnt too bad) - one pannel has a hit in it when a girl found out she cant park straight. doesnt look bad at all. anyway, i will attach some pics and my mobile number is [phone removed]. I live in Dromana so it is a little drive for most - but will hopefully kill the tyre kickers. Im after $5,000 firm

they guy i purchased it off painted it. unfortinatly the stooge (i think he still looks here, HI!) didnt record the paint as he was mixing it. it is just a custom colour he made one night on the cans.

it looks awesome, i had to replace the rear bumber and also need to aquire a group A front bar. im thinking of just converting it to the calais bottom end (i like the standard look, i still love the car).
