hi guys i am looking at the 4 pot nissan r32 gtr and vt discs / hubs update BUT do i need both the booster and master cylinder? or just the 1" cylinder? i have a n/a calais 3.0l by the way so it has the n/a front end and disc rear and a 15/16" cylinder. i am under the impressio i just need the cylinder and not the booster aswell can you guys clarify? - cheers mitcham

The double diaphragm booster will improve pedal feel, I imagine that with the single diaphragm booster and the big master cylinder the pedal will feel pretty hard.

Youre right, Mitcham - the 1" master will fit straight onto the single diaphram (15/16") brake booster. Probably feel like sh*t though. Theres a thread floating around somewhere about fitting a VT master cylinder onto a VS brake booster, then fitting it to a VL.

I have a 1inch Master cylinder on the NA drum booster.. pedal feels a bit delayed more then anything.. not necessarily spongey.. Brakes fine however..
