just wondering if anybody has run these on their standard manifolds? I Tried fitting a KKR480 to my standard manifold and it wouldn't fit. Please let me know if you have run these before and what was needed to make it fit. Thanks

Are you fitting a 430 or a 480? 480 has no chance in hell of fitting. 430 you need to: -rotate the compressor cover so it's aligned properly to fit the manifold - grind some out of the underside of the manifold - and then a little bit out of the compressor cover if you want to be sure of it fitting - do a small amount of bending to the standard oil lines to make them fit The wastegate is also a big **** around, but you should be able to work out what needs doing for that. Good luck.

Good luck. Instead of grinding part of the manifold and compressor cover, wouldn't I just be able to put in a 10mm spacer so it doesn't touch? How close will it sit to the engine mount? Its also a KKR430 that I'm going to run, had to send the 480 back as the compressor housing was obviously too big.

PM 637PSI, pretty sure he fit the 480 on his standard manifold with a 20mm spacer plate.

10mm spacer would easily do it, there would be heaps of room then. However if the turbo is that low I think you might run into problems using the factory oil return hose.

Sounds like a headf**k to me haha. With what jordy said, you could get around the oil return problems by shortening the metal part of the return line so the rubber tube doesnt have to bend more then 90degrees if you know what i mean. But then youd still have a hard time getting the oil and water feeds to fit wouldnt you? Especially the oil feed, its not that flexible is it??

Just grind the comp cover and underside of the exhaust manifold...
