Hey all, Ive got a Zylux alarm in my commodore (VR) that has been playing up lately, locking the doors, not turning off the immobiliser etc.. Just generally being painful to use. I was wondering if anyone has this particular alarm, its a Zylux Z30S. With either a red or blue remote (2 buttons). Its fairly old i believe. Just wanting to know if anyones encountered anything like this, whether or not changing the remote helped (thats what has been sugested to me, but i cant seem to find a programmable replacement, the originals arent made anymore)..and if you know where i can get interchangable parts (mainly remotes) for it..maybe even a wiring diagram/install guide? Long shot i know, but i thought someone might have a little bit of info..The "specialists" dont seem to know (or care) much at all..anything will help at this stage.. cheers Steve

change the battery of the remote

That was the first thing i tried, remote is faulty, as in the lock/arm button will push itself and set the alarm off if a battery is left in it. Really what i need is info on what remote i can use in the place of the one ive got.. Im thinking unless someone on here works for Zylux (not too likely) im not gonna have much luck (even though no one at the actual company could help me) thanks anyway.

Yeah, i think youre right, just wanted to get it all working to sell it but might have to disconnect it all instead.
