YES this has probably been gone over before but i couldnt find it..... but... i just want to get a turbo hooked up as cheaply as possible... i wouldnt care if i was running 0 psi as long as i knew it was set up for later improvement.... therefore.... what should i think about doing... i have approximately 1k-1.5k(depending on what you guys say) which im sure some people on this website would be able to charge a vl for. (i was looking at this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HUGE-T70-TURB...QQcmdZViewItem (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HUGE-T70-TURBO-VL-RB30-MANIFOLD-50MM-WASTEGATE-KIT_W0QQitemZ220197933679QQihZ012QQcategoryZ72478QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) im sure you've all come across it. but paying 800 bucks then getting an install... that seems really cheap to me? what about the ecu and whatever else. anyways) if anyones willing to take a step and help me out. (with the labour and obtaining of parts) id be willing to pay a decent labour cost.(within what i can afford hahahaha). if you think i should forget about it. tell me anyways thanks for your help guys as always. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

cheap for a reason..if your going to do something do it right the first time rather than having to spend more $$ fixing all the fuck ups im pretty sure there are a few users selling complete turbo conversions on here..worth a look

If you dont want a conversion try find a complete turbo engine, ecu and fuel pump which you can get for 1k-1.5k from here or wreckers. Take out the n/a engine and put in the turbo engine, ecu and fuel pump.

instead of buying that turbo setup just get your 1.5k,spend $2 on a lighter and burn the rest of the money. the outcome will be the same but it will waste less of your time

dude stock turbo conversions pop up on here all the time... get a stock as a rock turbo conversion off here.. put a cometic head gasket on your n/a motor.. if your motor is a A8 it will already have the water oil lines or if not get them tapped into the block... or even better buy a A8 motor and then turbo...

1.5k will get you a full stock conversion, thats the only way. You will have to do all the work yourself. Forget the t70. Will cost you another 1.5gand after you buy that for all the support bits like ecu and injectors.

f your doing high comp your gonna need a cooler kit, better fuel pumps etc etc your 1.5k will go quickly and you still wont have everything you need. Even if you do get it done your auto wont hold very long and you will need to slap a bigger better auto to hold your few pounds of boost. There is a guy on here with the P plater issue. He is looking for an N/A motor. What you could do is offer him the 1.5k for the motor in his car and give him yours and then you will have a motor... You could even goto the bother of swapping boxs as well.
