Hi everyone, My brother is turboing his NA Wagon (RB30E). He just had a quick question relating to fuel pumps, as i was unsure i thought i would ask you guys and gals. Can you remove the standard fuel pumps and only use an internal Walbro 500HP in their place? How hard is it to install the Walbro internal and how hard is it to wire up? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Jason

Topics been covered a few times on the tech section, a search should find it though the subject line might not reflect it. General consensus (iirc) was to use a better internal lifter pump which is straight swap then use a 044 on the outside Because the amount of stuffing around trying to put one different pump on the inside isnt worth it. Also with uprated internal its easier to plumb a surge tank at the lower pressure input to the external pump. I'd rather that than have any amount of fuel in an aftermarket surge tank at high pressure - personal opinion mostly.
