To power the twin subs properly... Yes a monoblock will be required A 4 channel (75rms) amp will suffice for your speakers What are the RMS rating of the subs?

u will need 2 amps as u have been told, one for the subs and one for the speakers. this will give u enough power for them... if i was u i would install it all yourself... its not too hard...just read all the manuals and wiring diagrams and take your time and always triple check before u cut any wires. u can buy wiring kits from jb,strathfield, ebay etc if doing it yourself or the installers would have them for you. as for brands of amps, the precision amps by jaycar are very good. if u want to go cheap use boss amps, people say bad things about them but ive had them before and they are very good. depending how much money u have will depend on which brand of amps u can afford. look to budget a minimum of a couple of more hundred bucks to get your amps and wires... and a couple more hundred if someone else is installing it for you.
