I converted mine a few months ago. It cost me $3250 less the 2K rebate. 440 mixer single B2 convertor 70L tank. Well worth it. Tank of premium used to get me 300 to 350kms and cost $100. Tank of gas costs $35 and gets me 300kms. On gas and petrol they both make around 140rwkws with a lot more potential when i get around to winding more boost into it. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=109260 In the build, all gas gear 2nd hand and an old Haltech ECU, total cost installed will be around the free mark. Most of the go fast extras cost though.

This setup gives you massive scope for power increases. The tank is the biggest restriction and has to be modified for anything above 220rwkws. I still run the standard ECU and it should support 200rwkws quite easily. Have a look at the Members cars under GAS 747 in the iinsane section. Hey Alysynon how far is your car away from hitting the road ?

Hey Alysynon how far is your car away from hitting the road ? so you do away with the injectors? and fuel pump and petrol tanks etc? do you have a parts list of what was used? how different is your setup vs say a n/a set up? what needs to be changed or different? thanks for help

If you run dedicated LPG you can remove the whole fuel system. Mine is still dual fuel and i use the computer and the air flow metre to retard the timing when on gas. When i get a programmable ECU the fuel system will be removed and it will be dedicated gas. Because you have a later model car you would be better off going with injection. Your best bet would be to call your local installer and discuss the options.

Hey Alysynon how far is your car away from hitting the road ? Not far, just need to fit 3 bits of silicone, a BOV, a burst plate, a few minor non essential electrical items, radiator and the vacuum lines then off to have the gas lines connected, certified and tuned. Probably a day or two of me actually working on the car time, that is the issue though, not going to be touching it again until mid - late April at this stage due to work commitments, so it should be out on the streets just in time for the Adelaide wet season.... Am also researching a new style of gas tank that is square / rectangular, larger capacity and customisable for number of outlets, this will change things a lot if it is all it says it is. Means I can go back to one tank instead of 2 and also get my boot back.
